Professor Lam Khee Poh from the Department of Architecture and Department of the Built Environment in the College of Design and Engineering at NUS has been conferred the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) Global Educator of the Year Award 2025.
IWBI is the global authority for advancing healthy buildings, organisations and communities by using the WELL Building Standard (WELL), a framework to create and certify spaces that advance human health and well-being. The IWBI Global Educator of the Year Award honours Prof Lam for his outstanding commitment to WELL education.
“I am utterly humbled and deeply honoured to receive the Global WELL Educator Award 2025. It has been an immensely fulfilling journey which started some four decades ago, working with PhD students on research and imparting newfound knowledge to generations of architecture and built environment students around the world,” said Prof Lam.
