NUS inked an agreement with social impact organisation Unicorns For Good (UFG) and the non-profit organisation Social Innovation Park (SIP) on 18 May 2023 to champion impact leadership for start-ups and innovators by harnessing the power of technology for the greater good.
Three early career researchers from NUS have been awarded the University’s inaugural Emerging Scientist Fellowship to further their research careers. The scientists are Dr Tang Chi Sin, Dr Nicholas Yap and Dr Zeng Yiwen.
With applications in medical devices, electric vehicles, aerospace equipment, and more, the batteries are being tested in a new USD3.8 million (S$5 million) high-tech laboratory launched by NUS and CBMM.
